Display Repair
If your display is cracked, distorted or there is another issue with displaying a clear image, display repair is the most likely repair required. Advanced LCD only replacements are performed at Vancouver Mac Service Centre, which greatly reduces repair costs compared to replacement of the full display assembly. Original, OEM LCD panels are sourced from trusted overseas suppliers to ensure the best possible picture quality.
Logic Board Repair
If your laptop is not powering on, functioning unexpectedly, the most common issue is due to the logic board, the processing centre of the laptop that is responsible for all the processing and power delivery throughout the computer. Logic boards are repaired at the component level, which reduces repair costs, preserves user data and avoids lengthy waits to order in replacement logic boards. Using high-quality soldering and rework equipment, repairs are completed to match or exceed the original reliability of the logic board.
Storage Upgrade
It is common on iMacs with a mechanical Hard Disk Drive (HDD) for there to be performance or reliability issues that arise after several years of use. The HDD can be replaced with a much faster, more reliable SSD for an affordable cost.
How does the free diagnosis work?
We believe that charging for a diagnosis is not conducive to customer satisfaction and can even contribute to mistrust towards repair shops. Vancouver Mac Service Centre provides a completely free, comprehensive diagnosis for your MacBook. The laptop will be diagnosed free of charge to determine which repair may be necessary. There is no obligation to follow through with a repair, and there is no charge if the repair is declined. Diagnostics can be performed while you wait.
How do I start a repair?
Simply bring the laptop into the Vancouver Mac Service Centre Storefront at your convenience. A quote will be provided after a quick inspection. To receive an estimate over phone, simply call or text.
How long will the repair take?
As a MacBook Specialist, Vancouver Mac Service Centre can afford to stock the vast majority of required parts, vastly reducing wait times. Most repairs take within 1 day, with only the most complicated logic board repairs taking up to 5 days.
What parts are used?
All parts used are either original OEM, or OEM grade. Most parts for MacBooks are only manufactured by Apple’s original manufacturer. Some parts, such as batteries, cannot be obtained from Apple. In these cases, parts are used from dedicated suppliers that can supply OEM-grade replacements that match the original performance.
How does flat-rate pricing work?
The price is based on what gets repaired, and nothing else. That means no hourly rates, no additional service charges and no diagnostic fees. There will only be payment due for a completely successful repair.
90-Day Warrantee Included
All repairs include a 90-day warrantee on the repaired components in case there are any defects arising from the repairs performed or parts installed.
